Guest Post: Magical Moroccan Interiors

This week I'm turning it over to someone else to talk Color + Texture + Pattern:

Hello! I'm Jessica, a writer for Arcadian Lighting, a wonderful online resource for affordable light fixtures. Every day I get to search for beautiful interior design inspirations and then share them on lovely blogs, like Lotus and Fig! I'm delighted to be here today because I'd like to share a particularly magical style of interior design. The rich textures, ornate patterns and brilliant colors of Moroccan interiors create a truly magical atmosphere that is at once electric and tranquil. I hope you enjoy!

Moroccan Entryway Bedroom

The arched entryway of this bedroom opens to a cool, modern oasis. The blue and white color palette is serene, while a gorgeous seaside view fills the room with energy.

Neutral Moroccan Magic

The beautiful neutral colors of this room, combined with the dazzling natural light peeking through the lattice work is simply gorgeous. The rustic textures and fabrics are perfect examples of Moroccan designs.

Moroccan Attics

This rugged attic room is filled with color and warmth. The Moroccan poufs and eclectic furniture create a quirky Bohemian feel.

Moroccan Lanterns

This gorgeous collection of jewel-toned lanterns catch the setting sun beautifully. The poufs complement the magical colors.

Cool Moroccan Bedroom

The cool water tones in this spacious bedroom create a serene escape from the outside world. Unique wall sconces and sparkling pendant lights add an otherworldly quality.

Moroccan Bedroom

The warm earthy tones in this bedroom and rustic textures are a perfect combination. The intricate headboard is truly eye-catching.

Moroccan Tile

The stunning tile-work throughout this apartment is a perfect example of Moroccan style. The birdcage in the window and elegant pendant light over the dining table are great accent pieces.

Moroccan Bathroom

When all else fails, it's easy to create a magical Moroccan space with just a few key pieces of decor. The woven basket and slippers are from Marrakech and add a bit of exotic flair to a charming bathroom.
